ohhhh I like this VERY much. If you get glossy pillars then you can make your door handles glossy black chrome. It'll look sick.

Cant you do the same with some 3M gloss black vinyl? That will only cost like $15 and wont have to worry about fitment.

Or will actual black plastic look better?

i doubt it would have that super glossy/ reflective surface.
idk. ive never worked with the gloss vinyl. just matte and CF.

thats pretty impressive.

again, im still kinda worried about fitment.

search yielded a review for a CU1

https://acurazine.com/forums/1g-tsx-photograph-gallery-127/another-high-gloss-piano-black-b-pillar-door-covers-review-857227/

fitment looks pretty good.

same vendor has some listed for 09-11 TSX..
12 should be the same b-pillars right?

Yeah you're right, vinyl wouldnt look anywhere near that reflective.

I think it looks pretty good! Are you going to be the forum hero and be the first to buy it?

Try gloss black vinyl. It'll be something in between the matte that's there and the shiny piano black ebay ones.

There's a guy somewhere on here with a Vortex Blue CU2 on A-Spec wheels that has these. He said the fitment was perfect. Let me dig up that thread..

i think the gaps are issues with them not knowing the right measurements.
it also looks like he mounted them a little higher than they were supposed to be mounted..

the ones posted above on the CU1 look good.

still may risk it one day.. idk.
may just leave it alone. mine still new so it doesnt look bad or anything.

so after you sent them measurements and they sent you a new pair, the new pair had no fitment issues?

You could just cover them with paint protection film, that's what I did and it will gloss over any flat color.

Also did my old BMW

i hated my chrome handles at first.
even plastidipped them black but it didnt look right.
the chrome door handles and the chrome trim kinda work together.

if it was all black, i think it would look weird.
