Gift from myself

Got sick of not having my own buffer and having to borrow one all the time, so I treated myself to all this. Can't wait to put it all to good use...

Bought a few other misc. things like foam pad cleanser and cleaning brush as well. Hopefully I'll get a full day one of these weekends and go crazy on the car.

the bf has that same polisher (it was his first one, he has gotten a couple more since then). he has some recommendations for you, said he will log on later and share some of the stuff he has learned. his logon is reefer_bob. He has worked on quite a few cars (incl mine, his audi, our friends beemers ('02 5series and '04 745li), even our old neighbor's boat. I really think he spends more on detailing supplies than he does on me. sigh

Nice. The PC is a great piece and will do well on the Acura paint. I have a 7424, a Flex 3401 DA, and a Makita 7223 rotary.

The flex just takes a lot of work to get the same results.

Be careful with that orange pad and the compound. I personally HATE the Euro foam orange pads (Lake County any number of manufs) Always start light and go heavier.

Not knowing what all you've gotten, you'll probably need a couple more white and or green pads for your polishing steps. Also you can't have too many MF's.

If you have questions, you can ask Kristy, or I and a ton of other great detailers can be found over on DetailingBliss.com. Very nice low key website. I'm not on here very much... :)

Nice gift! Keeping black cars clean is a pain but the payoff is sweet.

I've been putting off clay-barring my car for the longest time! let's see some before and after shots

I'm off Saturday, be there at 9 to do my car or I'll punch you in the throat.

I haven't been to the Crystal City in a while. I do, however, have family in Rock Hill.

P.S. Almost moved to Mecklenburg county years ago, until I heard about the state & county income tax. :ugh:
