Question E-001: How do I REMOVE the front plate bracket?

I live in NJ where front plates are required, so this came installed from the dealership. I hate the front plate, so I always take them off. Unfortunately the location of the bracket doesn't allow for any tool to get in between the plastic bottom grill to remove it. I've seen pictures of people on here severely damaging this.

Has anyone REMOVED the bracket altogether? It looks like maybe I could snap the clips off and go in from the bottom, but this looks like a tremendous hassle.

lmfao i guess when u said u seen pictures of ppl damaging this..u meant me LOLOL

first take the bolt off and take off the license plate, then on the bottom of the plate holder u need a 10mm socket to get the two bolts inside loose, then ur done. learned it the hardway...

You're awesome! I probably should have done that to begin with, but didn't even think of it. Got it off in 5 minutes. Thanks again!

Did it leave holes O_o? If it left holes, I'd just leave the plate on
