Did they fix the DBW lag in the 2nd gen?

Many of us with the first gen 6MT TSX will say DBW was one of the worst features of the TSX. It ruined the driving experience with tricky shifts.

So does the 2nd gen take care of the tricky 1 -> 2 shift?

Someone on a test drive isn't going to do 0-60 runs.

I just had an 07 AT loaner for a day and the DBW is NOT nearly as noticeable as my 07 6MT...so valid comparisons would only come from those who have test driven the both the first gen 6MT and the second gen 6MT

Why not?

People, it probably does 0-60 in 7 to 8 seconds. If you're at all concerned about 0-60 times I'd suggest you shop elsewhere.

Or by someone who owns a 1G 6MT like me and has test driven a 2G 6MT twice so far (not counting my wife's drive).

Shifting between 1st and 2nd is smooth as glass just like every other on the 2G.

While I agree that very few people who buy the TSX are overly concerned w/ 0-60 times, it's still nice to have an idea of how fast (or slow) it may be compared to the competition. IMO, 8 seconds 0-60 for the Auto is acceptable, 9.2-9.3 (as stated in another thread) is not, at least for the North American market.
