Color question
I know that colr is really subjective but I'm trying to get a read on the forged silver. Everytime I look at it it looks different and there are times when I don't like it.
Quite frankly, I currently have a dark blue metallic and am sick and tired of having a very nice looking car when clean, but having it look lousy a few minutes later when it gets dirty.
I like the graphite but it does require more upkeep. I'm not opposed to upkeep as I don't mind spending a day clay'ing, polishing, sealing and waxing, but I also want a car that'll look OK between washes.
So, the question is, is forged silver a color that will be universally hated (like that baby blue metallic on Civics or the slime green Focus) or will be considered just another silver?
As an aside, theres a forged wagon tech on the lot but no graphite, so I could probably get a better price on the forged wagon.

My vote is in. I think it looks great to look at, not sure I would be able to look at it daily though. But some feel the same about CBP too. I personally like the damn I need to wash my car every other week feeling. Gets me out of the house for a lil bit.

I love it bc it's always different but you probably already know that and know that I'm obviously biased. The car looks amazing, clean and in the sun and it doesn't look too bad when it's dirty either. To me, it's more silver than blue. But as I've said in other threads, the hue is always changing with FSM.
I like this color more than the previous glacier blue metallic bc it's not quite as blue as that.

idk about FSM, but i have the silver moon. it was the 08 tsx silver, i really dislike silver. its plain and not fun. white is gorgeous with black accents. black is a classic for black on black. and i love my vortex blue. i chose blue over black and white cause i like that its more rare. the red of the 2nd gen is also very nice. a deep burgundy wine color

I went to the dealer today and picked up a loaner to drive for the day. While I was there in the AM I looked at the various colors in the sunlight and the forged silver looked pretty good.
When I brought the car back, the sun was starting to go down and the forged silver looked like a dirty gray. I think it is off the list. The graphite luster is the front runner. Has anyone seen a wagon in moon silver? That was the color of the sedan I drove today and it was quite nice.
