color difference

Can anyone explain to me the color difference between the polished metal metallic and the grigio metallic? Also since I am not one to maintain a spotless car which would be easier to maintain? Is the grigio similar to the black? Sometimes it looks black and sometimes dark gray?

Have you checked the "build your Acura" feature on the Acura website? The grigio is like a dark gray/silver, the polished metal is like a medium gray/silver, and the palladium is a light, silver colored silver If you keep your eyes peeled, you can probably see the differences in cars out on the road. Or just drive by an Acura dealer.

I liked Grigio (Italian for grey?) and Polished Metal but preferred the PMM which looks like sharkskin to me. The Grigio has a little bit of amber or brownish tint to the grey. The PMM would probably show less dirt than the Grigio.

Thanks I have a silver accord right now and I love the fact that dirt doesn't show up as much as on the darker colors.

I have the Grigio and I would agree that the PMM shows less dirt.

At first I really liked the way grigio looked on the website, but seeing after seeing it in person, I felt that it was too brown for me. I mean, in the dark I guess its more difficult to tell, but in the day the car gives off a brownish hue that I can do without.

The polished metal is lighter gray, but I'm afraid its too close to silver for my comfort.

I really wish they still had the Carbon Gray which was my favorite color for the 1st gen. It was the right shade of dark gray without any brown... Now I have to decide between white and black, although The PMM is still an option.

Grigio is the darkest color you can get with metal flake. I wish there was a black metal flake (Mazda had this on the RX-8 for a couple of years). My opinion is the darker the color, the better the sparkle of the flake due to the contrast. The great thing about the flake is that it will confuse the eye to any swirl marks that a flat dark color will show.

I agree with others, go to the dealership and look at the difference. My bet is they will have each one. If you want the "cleaner look for the duration", go with the palladium, if you want the deeper shine, go with Grigio.

I love my Grigio, and I really don't see much brown in it at all. I think its a great color, and is super sparkly when clean.
