Check engine code! P2422
Driving in to work earlier this week my check engine light came on. I checked the code and it is P2422 (Evap canister vent shut valve close malfunction).
After some research, I found that there is a service bulletin on this (08-052).
With 67,000 miles on the car, would this be covered for repair under the TSB? Is there a warranty/mileage restriction on TSBs? Is it dealer discretion?
I'm going to call and ask the dealer later today, but I figured I'd throw this out to all of you first and see what everyone thinks. Thanks in advance.

So it looks to be a 15-20 minute job plus the part. Since the TSB mentions out of warranty, it sounds like there is a good chance of getting this covered but you must request the goodwill repair and get approval prior to the dealer starting work.
