B1 Service at Honda Dealer vs Acura Dealer, Question/Help Needed?

I'm up for my B1 service, actually i'm a bit over the actually due date. Tried to book an appt with my acura dealer but their pretty booked up. I live next to a honda dealer.

Does anyone know if:

1. I can get it done at the honda dealer?
2. Does honda perform the exact same thing? I would assume yes.
3. Will there be a cost difference? ie, does it cost less at honda?

Thanks in advance for any feedback

Thanks for all the feedback.

I purchased an oil filter and drain washer and went to my local mechanic. My mechanic performed everything and found that one caliper was seized so I did a break job. All done and said it cost me 80. The dealer wanted 230 for the B1 and another 160 for a break job.

For $80, I have to assume that all he did is free the seized caliper (or more likely, lube the pins), as opposed to actually doing a BRAKE job (pretty generic term though , so I'm not sure what that means....).

I get my (2) Acuras serviced at the Honda dealer I know very well. And, the prices tend to be less than if done at the Acura dealer. Also, the ONE service tech I use...and he happens to be the shop mgr...has access to the Acura service site so he can look up any TSB's...and information he may need on anything. Not all techs can do that.

He took the breaks apart and put them back together. Took about an hour. Watched him doing when I was sitting in his garage.

Did I miss anything? Feedback appreciated
