I have a 2011 TSX, which has the pinkish tails, and I don't care for them. I like the 09-10 tail lights better. Anyone want to swap theirs for mine?

I prefer the pink tails and would take part in a swap. However, I don't have a ton of packaging supplies around and not sure if it would be worth the effort.

your best bet is to find a used one on ebay or junk yard.

tint out your turn signals to red and get clear 09-10 reverse lights

I got 2 new open box units from ebay and 2 new from the dealer; I think it was around $300

I ended up selling the pink for $225 I think after I listed them 4 or 5 times

Pink makes the car look less sporty and more upscale

If you swapped tail lights with someone, what would you use while waiting for them to ship? just an exposed bulb hanging out? I dont see it being very practical unless you can meet up with someone to trade.

well i for myself i have multiple vehicles and have swapped tail lights before on a different ride before, so i shipped mine out they were received and i received the other set all in about week, not to bad actually considering we was about 900 miles apart.

I guess I wasn't thinking outside the box enough. I'm used to having only one car and being to get to work every day. You're right, I'm sure there are many more with other cars they can use.

someone just moved into my condo with a 2011+ TSX (pink taillights). They park only a few spaces from my 2009.

I want those pink tails. Problem is, the guy seemed kinda dorky and not really a car guy. Doubt he'd go along with the whole swap.

Think he'd notice if I swapped them in the middle of the night?

I bet you he wouldn't notice. Most people in the world could only say the difference between 09-10 and 11/12 is the grille changed.

So after thinking about it for a while, I remembered something. When doing my LED reflector project, I was messing with the bulbs for tail lights. I had the bulb only half in the housing and resting on the plastic. The bulbs were lit for a few minutes and ended up melting some of the housing where the bulb clicks in. So now the bulb doesn't click in correctly and isn't very tightly set in there. It's stayed in place for like 3 months just fine, but I am going to add some double sided tape just to be sure. It still functions alright and looking from the outside its hard to tell anything happened to it. The bulb just isn't 100% secure.

So unless you don't care about that, then it looks like I am out unfortunately.

After I totalled my 2010 I was sooo close to taking them off so I could sell them on here... I guess I should have. But I very much didn't want my insurance to say wtf, there no damage in the rear so where are the lights?!?! Lol
