Anyone compare TSX and Mazda 6?
The new Mazda 6 with 4cyl and 6spd manual and a lot of options (touring version?) looks to be a worthy car.
Has anyone here driven one? Thoughts?

I did look at the Mazda 6 last year, good looking car but it's too big (at almost 193.7" vs TSX 185.6" ) and less hp (170 vs TSX 201).
I do like the interior better than the 2009 Accord, and you can have a 6MT vs only 5MT for the Accord.
Also the 6's is built in Michigan and the TSX is from Japan.

It was down to the 6 and the TSX for me when I bought the TSX. Advantage TSX: Powertrain/best 6 speed MT ever, interior design, stereo, class of materials, suspension handling. Advantage 6: Steering feel, push button start/side warning system, larger back seat room, sportier exterior, quieter road noise. Both have non distinctive wheels. The thing to remember is residual, the TSX will hold resale much better as it does not have low end models coming off of Hertz rent a car lots driving down your upgraded Grand Touring 6 price. The American built vs Japanese built was not a factor.

I'd probably pick the TSX over the I4 Mazda 6. However, given that the V6 Mazda 6 costs around $30k loaded, I would pick a V6 Mazda 6 over the I4 TSX. Don't let people scare you about the 6 being built in the US. I have a previous gen. 6 and it has been just as reliable as my family's TLs.

I seriously considered the Mazda 6 with the manual. I really liked it and was not as disappointed with the lower powered 170hp engine as I thought I was going to be still not as good as the TSX. The 6 drove very nice. I like the size of the 6 (got two kids) over the TSX, but I am used to it now. I was nearly sold on the 6, but when I optioned it out, it was just about the same price as a Base TSX/ To top it off the dealer wanted large deposit to order the car and said I will have to pay msrp because it is a special order being a 6speed with the Leather/Sunroof/Bose. Said no one wants a manual in a loaded car! They tried to sell me a base 6speed they had on the lot for under $19k. Tempting if I was on a tighter budget and wanted to blend into the crowd a bit more. The big thing for me was the value, the optioned out 6 did not lease as good as the TSX (due to the TSX having the best Residual value) and the TSX just feels so much more high end.
They both have their pros/cons I agree with all the points 09TSXMN made. I will add Acura also has loaner vehicles from the dealer if needed. The TSX also has a longer warranty and the sweet USB stereo interface! I love the fact I can use a few 4GB jump flash drives for all my music and can control/see the songs thought the TSX stereo. I feel the biggest reason to go for the TSX over the 6 hands down in the powertrain department and over all feel, I found the 6speed in the TSX is the best (feel and precision) in the business in any sedan under $35k. The TSX LOVES to rev, I is a drivers car with the 6speed. I smile every time I drive it or think about driving it!
