Almost a month old 2013 TSX SE
Sup guys,
Finally joined this site. Been a lurker for a while now. I recently sold my 2006 TSX and picked up 2013 TSX SE in white. Did a few mods already and more parts are on its way. Hope to help out the this community since I been in the Honda scene since 1995
Let the pics do the talking.....
Dan
Latest pickup...2013 TSX SE in white. Few mods...JDM grill, Type S headlights.
My weekend track toy (Not a Honda)
My past rides...
2006 Evo MR
1993 Honda Prelude VTEC
1997 & 1998 ITR (Had both and sold them both after attempted theft on both at the same time ...these were the most fun cars I've ever own and drove)
Started own CF parts business back in 2001 with two ex-friends JDP Engineering (Never do business with greedy people that only care for money)
Here's my old DA Integra sedan with B18C swap. Lip that I made to start the business.

Great looking cars, almost makes me wish I wasn't moving to a place where I'll never have a car, let alone multiple ones.

Are the headlights still HIDs or Halogen on the TSX? They look Bi-xenon?

The corner lights are actually cornering lamps (halogen - H8) which stays on when you signal that lights up that area. I haven't wired this feature yet since our USDM cars didn't come with that module.
I figured out a relay configuration for this but I am thinking of converting the cornering lights to basic parking lights.

Nice rides!
Agree with you on the Type R. Probably the 2nd best handling car I ever owned. I got rid of mine since I was tired of being followed home all the time. 1 out of 2 of my year (2001) were being stolen.

Yes the Type-S headlights are Bi-xenon so no more stock halogen high beams. These are not direct plug & play. I made custom adapter harnesses with Honda connectors to make them work (good thing I gathered spare harnesses & connectors throughout these years from past projects)

[QUOTE=Silvaccordex01;14283954]How do the bi-xenons work? I assume its a different bulb? Does it require 2 ballasts? QUOTE]
there's a plug on the back of the headlight that you have to rewire and whenever you trigger it, it flips a small shield in the projector that makes the low beam turn into a high beam.

Nice car and car history. I absolutely envy the headlights. Wish I had the balls to start up my own company, always dreamed of working on cars when I was growing up but found myself in auto manufacturing which isn't the same if you get what I mean. I am a Mech Eng. by the way.
How did you source the headlights? I am sure Honda Canada would nip the transaction in the bud if I went through my dealer to source.
Did you end up getting the German spec. to have the proper headlight aiming? If you have a part number, let me know as I would be interested in this for a future project.
