Aftermarket Lip Spoiler

I am reluctant to spend $400 + $200 on installation ($600 total!) on a lip spoiler. When I owned a '05 TSX, I purchase a lip spoiler on ebay for under $100 and installation was simple with double sided adhesive. Worked and looked great! With my new '09 TSX, I checked on ebay and found a similar lip spoiler for $99 (shipped) that installs with just adhesive. I noticed, at least from the picture, that the lip spoiler is a basic design and does not have the curvature design as the factory spoiler. SO, do I save $400+ and get this and install it myself, or go with the factory and pay megabucks? What you TSX owners think or similar thoughts/experiences?

My factory decklid spoiler didn't cost me anywhere near $600. Got it at 10% above dealer cost and a technician at the dealer installed it for me for $20.

^ well it requires some stupid template tool to do the installation as per instructions.
and the damn template tool costs nearly $200 I think just for it.
it's a pain trying to do it without it I bet because you need to drill holes and they
need to be in the perfect spots for it to fit right.

so either you buy the tool yourself, or basically you need someone from acura who
has access to the tool to do it for you. go through the service dept, and they'll charge
you a bundle. find a way to get a tech to do it on the side (borrows the tool) and
he'll charge you far less I imagine, but this scenario is not always possible.

It literally took the tech that installed it for me, using the tool, about 5 mins.

I got it for $300, and had it installed by a buddy that owns a body shop (had him paint my grill while it was there). I didnt think it was worth saving the money by getting the aftermarket. But maybe I am just a snob...
