Acura White Nav DVD 4.b1 on sale - $99 plus free shipping

FYI - looks like Navteq just put this on sale through 3/31 for $99 plus tax but with free shipping. Been waiting a month and a half to get it at a decent price. Previously bought from that one shady website (see TL 3G forum) but that turned out to be a burned copy that didn't even work. You could probably get it a bit cheaper from that guy on fleabay who has a monopoly on this version, but he blocked me apparently because he didn't like my lowest offer. I'd rather get it from Navteq anyway and pay a few bucks more. hope this helps my fellow 09/10 CU2 owners.

Don't even know if it's worth it... unless you travel a LOT and use the navigation to do so.

yeah, it's definitely not worth $150, maybe not even $99 on substance alone, but that's the best you can get it genuine and new. unfortunately my car still has the original 09 disc in it so I figured an update was probably in order.

Showing $149 for me too. Is the DVD for 2011/2012 TSX on sale too? Do we need a promo code?

As far as I know, the 2011/2012 don't use a DVD. It is all updated via USB. Could be wrong though.

Dad uses the navi all the time since he travels all the time but they should give you a few free years to update like 2 years after the year of the navi disc you purchased. I saw this on acura's site, are they doing this with this deal?

Try THIS LINK (do not use this, see below)

EDIT: ok, apparently the link is changing perhaps because we're going through the acurazine website. just copy and paste this into your address bar:

http://www.navigation.com/is-bin/INT...CU-EM1-FS-0313

EDIT2: Ok, well azine abbreviates links to right click on that second link, choose copy link location, then paste in your address bar.

according to the website, there is a green disc for the 11/12 TSX. That is also on sale for $99.

Relax guys. Just because Navteq has released a new map doesn't mean that the area you are in has been updated. As you can see here the maps are updated by city and each city is generally updated every 5 years or so - the DC map hasn't been updated since 2008 so that 2013 map won't be any different in DC.

The updates page I linked to shows what areas are currently being updated and those updates will most likely show up on the 2014 map.

You can use the link posted by espionagelfe and then change the model and year. You will see "Exclusive offer: Special price of $99 and Free Shipping available through March 31st." at the top of the page and $149 price at the bottom. We will get $99 when you check out.

The dvd is copied to the HDD.

My question is can you upgrade from the CD based nav to the HDD-based nav by just swapping out the radio? Doesn't matter to me but I'm curious.

go this over the weekend. from the brief chance I had to test it out, it's not exactly what i expected. I didn't really get it for new or updated roads. living in chicago, the roads have been pretty much set for a century. I got it mainly for driving around on the fly and finding restaurants. to my surprise, though, they don't seem to have updated businesses in AT LEAST 3-5 years. for example, there was a BK on the corner of my block and a coldstone across from it maybe 4 years ago and a vietnamese restaurant down the street that was replaced a year and a half ago. both are still showing up. one NEW thing I noticed though is that there are now specific icons for BK and einstein bagels, maybe others, but those are the ones near my place. dah well, might keep it but also might end up returning it or selling it on fleabay.
