As you know, I am looking for a new bumper because someone rear-ended my car recently.

I really like the look of the Special Edition rear bumper more than the aero. Does anyone know if it fits on my 2010 TSX? And where would I buy it?

I tried searching but couldn't find anything.

I would say no because I believe the 12's are different from the 10's. Get a sport bumper and be done with it

 

What color is your car? The SE only comes in Red, Silver, White and Black. But Canada gets a Vortex Blue SE, so you could try to source one from there if you have a VBP. From a quick Google search, it looks like the SE rear bumper should fit 2010s, but I don't think anyone has actually done it.

 

It fits 2009 & 2010, but you need to have the bumper painted- they are only primed whereas aero bumper comes fully painted.

 

The sport bumper is what's next on my list of must haves, any good pictures of white sport bumpers out there ? post them up please

 

hmm. sports bumper is what? average 550?

the SE bumper seems like it's about 300....

maybe i will just get the sports bumper, but i do like the SE bumper more. however, i dont want it to be a headache.

 

Its 250 to 350 to paint a new bumper prperly.

So part of the allure of the aero is yo can get it painted.

SE is limited colors if you can even find a paintd one.

 

I was also interested in an SE rear bumper, but the hassle of finding a factory painted one in great shape is very difficult (especially up here in Canada, where we have the ASpec model instead of SE, which didn't sell very well).

Issues with (re)painting the SE is cost and colour mismatch. You'll likely see a mismatch in the bumper's colour from the rest of the paint.

misterg, how did you get the splash guards to fit your sports bumper?

 

aero bumper definitely looks weird with the splash guard

 

I am sales manager at a dealership so the body shop hooked me up. The flaps fit over the sports bumper with just a small gap. They are really flexible so two sided taped would make it form to the bumper just have not got around to doing it. If I get the side body kit I might remove them all together.

 

how much did you get the aero bumper for? my dealership is saying 625 for it.
