Exclamation 9005 HB3 LED Daytime Running + HOT decoder...

today I got this set Product Code: LED_SKU45_R2 . for my Acura TSX 2010.... Installed how it shows here.

But... i was really confused. this decoder is extremely HOT... can't hold in hand a even 1 seconds. Is it normal? where I need to install this....

Please help!

oh hey thats my car on the first link! hehe

i test fitted the lights for the company, i watch them install it and honestly, i cant tell you if mine was too hot or not. i sold it afterwards and put my old ones back on, but someone on here also complained about the heat. i am guessing it is normal for resistors to get that hot? but im not quite sure if thats the case..or if thats harmful in anyway

just turn on the low beam HID, then you also got your fog lights on(i think they should allow to turn on the fog with out the low beam on!@!).

i also notice that there is no way (or i dont know ) to increase the brightness of your screen when you have low beam on.

any one know how?

Just got replay from www.iJDMTOY.com

Dear Customer,

It is normal for the decoders to get HOT therefore we only recommend it to be mounted on metal.

You can contact us at 626-872-1127 for the installation assistance.

For any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us at anytime.

Sincerely,

Ivy
So, looks like nothing wrong with that decoders....
Ill install this at... so, weather is so bad and cold... maybe at weekends...

PS: also, if someone already installed it - can you guys make a some pictures?
