35watt vs 55watt hid bulbs

quick question: is there a difference in the bulbs? or is it all ballast?

reason: i brought a 35w kit for the headlights 6000k. im thinking of moving the ballast 35w to fogs but keep the 6000k bulbs in the headlight housing. buy a 55w 3000k kit and hook up the 6000k bulbs to the 55w and 3000k bulbs to the 35w. just want to make sure if there is any differences or the bulbs are the same. thanks!

HID are standard in the USA

in Canada the base model actually dosnt come with HID (which is totally different from usa base model) but we do get the projector housing which works out perfect still

DDM raised their prices.

Stak, did you get my pm?

Yes, 35w and 55w is the exact same bulb and ballast, the 55w is just coated with a special optical enhancement film that causes the light to penetrate your cornea more and so it creates the illusion that its much brighter because the light travels further into your eyeball

im kind of like a doctor guys, so you're welcome

I wouldn't trust DDM tuning stuff anyway. reading some stuff online and they really are a very sketch company. Plus we had a member where the ballast blew up...LMFAO.

im pretty sure that was killer. that doesn't count, he probably fucked up hahaha. my DDMtuning HID kit has been running just fine for a while. though duct tape didn't work as well as i had hoped. the drivers side ballast fell off, not sure of the passengers side, but oh well.

Killer can't fuck up.

So it was obviously DDM's fault, I mean how can you fuck up plugging things in so badly they explode? LOL. Just saying.
