anyone have opinions on MRR GF7? Trying to find new rims for my car, wanted the Vossen CVT but the fact it only comes in 20inch and its high price no longer makes it an option. So far I narrowed it down to mrr gf7 or vip modular vrc13. What do you guys think?

MRR GF7s look a lot like Forgestar F14s. They look pretty nice.

BTW if you lower the car on the 19" MRRs, you'll probably have to roll your fenders. The least aggressive settings are 19x8.5 +40 I believe (in 5x114.3), and I'm pretty sure that'll rub.

I agree the MMR do remind me of Forgestar F14s. I would love them in gun metal. How much do these weigh?

I couldn't even walk today... Without getting snow in my shoes. Only 2-4 inches here yet school should have been canceled, the snow was horrible in the morning.

It's snowing right now and I have my summer tires on. The drive home this evening could get interesting.

Will it be terrible? Last snow that came through I had my stock wheels on. I might try to bum a ride from a coworker who lives near me if it's impossible to drive.

Yeah...from what I read any amount of snow and you will be sliding everywhere. Buying summer tires was a stupid decision. Going to bum a ride today/tomorrow.

How much snow is it? You will be OK most likely... but your stopping distances will suck. Just drive slow and leave a lot of space between you and the car in front.

I can.
i'm on the coast, and its pretty warm year round. no snow.

he's in central texas where the elevation is a lot higher than 0.(houston is at 0feet)
thus it gets colder in dallas than in houston.

I had them on last summer. I've been checking the weather all the time and it didn't show any snow until last minute today.

Elevation of DFW: 597 ft (something I have to know for work). We are usually on the border of where the snow hits in TX.

it did, early in the morning.

a little snow, but only on the north side. Spring and cypress.
i doubt it stuck to the ground like it did in Dallas.
