Dom, that car is actually a lot closer to the 7-series!

I just chose the 5 series because of the slight curve at the fog lamp area, though the rear end of the Kia kind of looks like the GT model.

As long as you see that the Camry and TSX aren't that similar compared to other cars out there!

Wow, there certainly is a lot of Camry bashing in here. LOL! I just purchased a 2012 White SE V6 Camry 2 weeks ago. I had not intention of buying one when I went to the dealership with my wife. My first choice was the TSX wagon and my wife wanted the TSX sedan. I was looking for a daily driver that had to be automatic with 4 doors and get 30 mpg on the freeway. The Acura dealership would not budge on the price of the TSX wagon as they only had 2 in stock. They were willing to deal on the TSX sedan 4cyl though. When we visited Toyota they were able to give me $3,500 off of the car, which brought the price down to $27,500 vs the TSX wagon price of $34,000. The TSX looks nicer, drives nicer and has a nicer interior with climate control and HID lights. The Camry has a 6 speed, 68 more hp, similar gas mileage and keyless entry and start. I took the Camry and saved $6000.

I have been a long time Acura devotee with my first Acura being the 1991 Legend Coupe with 19" wheels. Later I purchased a 2001 Phoenix yellow Type R, then a 2003 TL Type S. I traded the TL-S in for a 2006 TL A-Spec. I drove the A-Spec for a year before trading it in for an M3.

I still have the M3 which is modified with Dinan parts and sitting on 19" HRE wheels. I usually drive it on Fridays. I also have a lifted V6 4Runner, which is used for off road trips and skiing. My wife drives a Lexus GX 470.

I have been driving the Camry for a few weeks now and it is not a bad car. It does not have the agility or the more luxurious feeling of the TSX, but it is a close contender. The car does have some get up and go for a sedan. The car is actually faster than my old Mustang 5.0 that I drove in college. I was not looking for a race car otherwise I would have purchased an EVO X or and STI for a daily driver. I wanted a nice comfortable car that has power when needed and is cheap to maintain. Things might have been different if the dealers were willing to drop the price on the TSX wagon. People say the Camry is a Granny's car, but they have yet to drive the SE V6. Hate it or love it for the price you cannot beat it. Only a few $$$ more than a Civic Si, but way nicer interior and faster to boot.

You should have checked out the '13 Accord. I'm quite certain it would have been a much more desirable choice over your Camry and you could have stayed within the Honda/Acura family. I guess it's too late now though.

Ill never buy from toyota.I Didnt like the way they tried downplaying the gas pedal issue.Denied it was their problem even though it was putting innocent people at risk. Plus Acura sounds better.
