I have a 2012 Acura TSX, I am having issues with a misfire. How this started is after getting gas which was 93, the car died down on its own on the way home. Once home tried starting and car was throwing black smoke out the exhaust and continuously cranking but not starting and no CEL. Checked out Spark Plugs and they were fouled in carbon so decided to replace, along with this decided to replace ignition coils as well. Tried starting and same crank but no start, opened fuel injectors and checked and replaced as the black smoke was thick and i thought maybe it is a fueling problem. Decided to check the codes and got a MAF code so cleaned MAF put back in and did not work, decided to replace and tried starting and same issue. Tried cleaning throttle body but bricked it and decided to replace that as well. Car now starts after a couple tries but struggles to stay on, when trying to drive it bogs out and dies and now the codes that I am getting are Cylinder 1 and 4 Misfire and P062F, naturally replaced the spark plugs and ignition coils to different cylinders and same cylinders are misfiring.
Also adding on that the battery is fairly weak on the car and gas tank is full. The new spark plugs have also been fouled but they are sparking, the black smoke is still there.
The key information that I take from this is that the problem started after getting gas. I would check your fuel to make sure it isn't contaminated or possibly mixed with diesel.
