2009 Oem Body Kit ?

I just picked up a 09 Tsx In Vortex Blue , and wanted to throw the oem kit on it, but I was told it would be 1800$ while a 2010 and above kit is 1450... What is the difference ,and are there any other cheaper options when it comes to the body kit?? I really would like to stick with oem for fitment issues , but I just can believe the kit is that much, My 04 TL kit was like 1k back in 05... Anyone have place where I can pick a kit up for 12 1300? Thanks!!!!

You won't. Your best bet is trying some online acura dealers, such as curry acura.

I contacted Curry since I saw there 1450 special, they were the ones who quoted me 1800. Since this kit is almost discontinued I would think it would be on clearance at every dealership , apparently not ..

$1450 is pretty good actually. When I placed an order from them, they quoted me $1580.

Acura hardly have any clearance. Ask Curry and if they can knock another $50 off.

The 1450 is for the 2010 and up kit, the 2009 kit was 1800.... I'm checking with a friend of mines Father who works at Honda in Marysville at the Honda Plant... No way in hell am I dropping 1800 on a kit...

curry or oemacuraparts would likely have the cheapest prices, i'm nearby curry if you need someone to swing by for whatever(i have a 13 Vortex Blue)

the reason for the price difference is the front bumper. for the 09-10 models, it is a fully new bumper. the 11-13 models is just small splitters which you can barely see

Price seems reasonable considering the front and rear are whole bumper replacements instead of bolt-on lips. I remember I paid $349 shipped for an entire OEM body kit for my 98 GS-R from Radley Acura way back in 2001 when they were clearing them out That was a steal. I'm sure there is a HUGE profit margin on these OEM body kits though...

I didn't realize it was a whole front bumper and rear bumper, thought they were just lips added to the existing bumper (Pyrodave) set me straight on that... Had no clue!!! I'm waiting to hear back from my buddy at the body shop .and a friend of mine's Father.. The prices should be dirt cheap since Honda is 45 mins away

Thanks! They are 19'' TSW vortex wheels. They look amazing in person and give an oem look. I get a lot of audi, bmw people checking out my car and giving me compliments.

Originally I had some ame shallen vip wheels that I had, but would have to drop the car and do some camber adjustments.

I thought the 09 was a whole new bumper , and the 10 just used the lower lip?

Hey, can you send me the details? I know others have said the front and back aero replace the bumpers, so does that mean I can just pop off the old bumpers and install the news ones and I'm good?

Thanks in advance.
