2 Topics// 1: Pedal Swap , 2. Leather Conditioner

Dont feel like flooding the forums with 2 topics so ill just make one...

Anyone done a pedal swap? Is it easy? And are these parts i found swaps or do they just screw on?

http://www.heeltoeauto.com/Honda-Acc...-pr-64900.html

and is that red hazard button they sell an easy swap too?

Also, anyone know of a good leather conditioner? Im thinking about going with meguiars as it stands. Leather is starting to show a little wear so i think it could use some love

Clean the leather with Lexol and protect it with 303 Aerospace. Don't bother with the greasy leather conditioner.

Meguiars Gold Class works fine for avoiding leather wear, but some product will wear off on your butt and slide wherever you sit. I've been using Lexol Leather Cleaner and it's been great, and you get no shine

If you're looking to break the bank, check out Leatherique.

I'm certain most places will have it: advanced, pepboys etc. My dealer sells it. It comes in a orange sprayer.

It's not very strong and won't leave a smell in your car, but no, it does not smell nice.

I never found it ti leave a smeel, but it does leave a residue which is why I switched to LeatherCPR. I find LeatherCPR gives the leather that like new look and feel to it. I do try and treat the front seats about once a month since my M37 seems to be showing wrinkles easily. I beleive I have seen Lexol at several auto part stores like Pep Boys and Autozone and I want to say maybe Walmart?

Does Lexol or LeatherCPR makes the leather shiny? I would like to preserve the leather's appearance as is without any shine to it.

Hey 09TSXTech. I really want the sports pedals, but I really dont want bolt-ons that go above my current pedals. You have to replace the whole pedal for the lings one correct? I've had my eye on these for a while, but I just wanna get more info before I take the plunge. Thanks for any information you can provide.

Leatherique twins or Leather Master.
Leatherique will take more time & effort, but it cleans like nothing else.
Leather Master is a little easier, but it'd still take a good hour and half to do.
You can't go wrong with either one, they are easily the best out there right now.

Not quite wholesale pedal replacement.

The dead pedal is full on replacement; the clutch and brake pedals (require the removal of the stock rubber cover and then bolt on inserts w/ aluminum pedal); the gas pedal is direct bolt on (require you to drill 6 holes and then rivet the aluminum pedal on). They are very good quality OEM sports pedals and show very little wear after 18 months of usage and looks great.

Neither makes it shiny, but Lexol you know it is there when you touch it. LeatherCPR gives the leather back that soft supple feel. I treat the seats and let them sit a few hours before using them.

I am also looking for a good leather conditioner for my two Acuras... after looking at the ones mentioned in this thread, I kept seeing another product pop up... Leather Honey (http://www.leatherhoney.com/). On Amazon, the reviews are excellent (http://amzn.to/e9CBDm)

Anyone used this product on their car?
