Im running 225/40/18 on a 18x8.5 rim. It has a slight slant so I can rock some spacer and sit flush. 215/40/18 will be a stretch. I wouldnt recomend it unless your gonna slam it more than 2” and go with a 30-35 offset. I test fit a few 18” rims and I can tell you below a 30 offset you will have to roll the fenders and run negative camber with a stretched tire. The same for wider 18” s. The lower you go the better they look. I bought mine 18” for daily driving. I will buy 20” s for shows. I bought my 18” tires for 110 each installed. I have bought 20” falkens for 125 each installed. Every shop around year charges 140 or more for 19” tires. They said is an odd size that not to many people go for. I am gonna measure for spacers for my 18” s cause they have a 45 offset. I want them to sit better. Pm me if you have any more questions cause I tried on to many 18” rims to list but remember how they sat.

honestly, i think im kinda leaning towards 18's, seeing how nicely the pwp sits on those ce28n's. not that i am getting those rims...but i think with the right wheel it'll look good...and hes only dropped on h tech. so if i drop on stech then i should be ok..

I went through the same thing you are going through. I ended up with 18's and a 30 offset. Looking back the only thing Id change is saving up a bit more for some lighter weight rims.

Yea s techs are good! 18” s will look good and ride great. just dont do 245/45/18 cause you will be on 4x4 status.

How about 245/40-18? I've a set of TL a-spec but cannot decide on tires. I'm between 245/40-18, 235/40-18 or 225/45-18.

If your not going lower then 1.5” and the roads in your area suck. depending on how wide your rim is 225 or 235 40 18. 225 for up to a 8.5” wide rim. 9” wide or more 235. 10” or more 245 40. pic sucks a lil but this is how my setup is and im in ny I eat potholes all day with no problems.

Reason I chose 18's is because at that time, I didn't want to go with the 20s since my rims were only available in those two sizes. Reason I went with these rims were because they were cheap in comparison to rims I want (Work Schwert SC1s, Varianzas, Volks CE28s).

One thing I can tell you is that, people who have complimented my ride, initially think they are 19's.

In the future, I probably would go 19s.

i also chose my rims because less spokes to clean. On my 05 TSX, I hated cleaning those rims. Sucks so much lol

haha you got it right the first time alvin

and no not yet, debating between H&R or stech.

also, like you said the tires that came with these had smaller sidewalls (tires a bit stretched too), so theres a few curb rash on the wheels. but its okay, i think ima run it till it needs changing, then get better tires + install tpms. maybe fix the crub rash later on lol, cant tell from far away

right now its 215/45/18, what would you recommend ? keep in mind i WILL be dropped lol, something that looks good with a drop that closes up wheel gap but wont make me rub
