Hey guys,
I'm looking to swap out the grill molding on my 09 TSX with a brand new one because the previous owner put a black one on it and I prefer the stock silver one. Pretty much it looks exactly like this:

This isn't my car but this picture is the exact same thing as mine. The long black triangular "V" looking piece where the Acura emblem sits is the piece I want to swap out. I found the part on Rockauto:

I'm wondering if anyone knows if I can swap that out without having to remove the Acura logo because I heard the Acura logo is pretty much stuck on there with some sort of series of bolts and I don't want to buy a new emblem.

But that part doesn't come in different colors, so it yours is not silver, it's either painted, plastidipped, or vinyl wrapped. Have you checked if you can just peel the black off? Might save you a few dollars.

 

Yeah the guy painted it black lol. The new piece from Rockauto was only 24 ish dollars so not bad.

 

Okay, yeah replacing it shouldn't be too tough. There are some walkthroughs for how to pull the grille off. I'm not sure if you can get just the chevron piece off without pulling the whole thing.

It's not terribly difficult to get the bumper off and grille out, should be an hour or two.
