Those wheels are horrid and I'm still not feeling the exhaust tips, but I really like the interior. The way all the surfaces is shaped and covered in leather (real or not), it looks soft and plush and high-end, a far cry from the cheap flat plastic and injection molding you find on the RDX. I'm a big fan of the wood trim too; glad to see they're not using that obviously fake laminate stuff we saw on the 1G.

I don't think the wheels are horrid in person but I just don't like that they share the Aspec design. Would've been a great opportunity for Acura to do a retro update to the 04TL Aspec wheels. The car is classy so the thick spokes work. Just put S wheels on it and call it a day lol

Beautiful! The legroom for the front was obviously a misprint on the spec sheet. Looks to have plenty of front legroom. I sort of like the wheels. Don't love them but they're definitely doable. Interior looks really good. I'm impressed. I'm still holding out for the Type S though. Despite the fact that is missing some nice features, I think I would enjoy the extra power more than I would miss the features.

The wheels would look a lot better the spoke were symmetrical and didn't have that stupid kink. As it is, it kind of looks like the Accord Touring wheels with but with a slit cut out from each spoke. Even more annoying, the design is reversed on wheels on the other side of the car because of the asymmetry.
This will be hilarious if (like the RDX) the base and Tech trims get better looking wheels than the Advance.

@GhostTL09 if you don't mind, may I ask how tall are you? It looks like you have plenty of leg room.
The TLX's leg room dimensions on that spec sheet must be a typo, or else it would mean there's 4 to 5 inches less front and rear leg room than a Honda Fit. You'd have to be less than 5-feet tall for that to be correct lol.

Weird placement of the volume control button on the center console... And wonder where is the Auto button for climate control - is it the one between seat heater/cooler buttons - or is that Auto button for seat heater/cooler only?

It looks like it’s above the on/off switch.

The toggle tune/track button should be integrated into the volume control knob like Audi does.

Thank You!
I was most curious about this color and these pics did a much job of representing it than the ones on Acura.com. I used to own a Black Currant Pearl and have longed for Honda/Acura to revisit the purple end of the spectrum.
After having 3 black vehicles in a row, I am thinking about switching it up but did not want a purple-purple vehicle. I like that it is dark enough that it might even appear black at night. Unlike Black Currant Pearl, it does not seem to be the type of paint that changes color depending upon how the light hits it.
Probably not in the market for another sedan so hopefully the new MDX will get this color.
Thanks again!

I think it’s gorgeous. It’s exactly what I intended to buy but, my creaky old body told me that I had to stick with the RDX.
The color is awesome. It looks like plain black in low light but, the violet flake pops in sunlight.
I haven’t frequented the TLX forums for a couple of years. I see it’s still a tough crowd.
Enjoy it!
