Your recommenation on high performance all-season tires for 2002 TL-S

Currently have Michelin Pilot Exalto PE2, but they are no longer available in the stock size. What's and equivalent tire (HP or UHP A/S) for my 2002 TL-S?

I really like Generals. Great performance and excellent value for the size. I have their new G-MAX AS-03 on my ride. Been a great tire so far.

I currently have the Continental Extreme Contact DWS tires on my 02 TL-S and love the handling, grip, and traction with these tires. I also went to a 225/45R17 so they are a little wider than the stock tires.

High performance and all season should not be used in the same sentence. But to answer your question IF i had to pick one in that category it would be the Conti Extreme Contact DWS

I have the yokohama yk580 on for a week now and so far so good. Raining a lot last couple of days and performed great and stuck through a corner also. They are also forty dollars cheaper than the contis.

Hey

The new Pirelli P7 All Season Plus tires are getting raves from JD Powers and the market and are priced very good with a long mileage guarantee.

I'm happy with my falken a so far especially since I ran them in the winter ... Which was very interesting and I drive my car the way a 17 year old TL driver drives his car, they are very sticky when its warm and solid when its rainy

Another vote for the Continental ExtremeContact DWS. I'm running 225/50-17 on stock wheels (they're only .4" taller than stock and .5" wider). Had them for 18 months and 12k miles and they've been great. Light too, at 22lbs.

I used to run Falken on my cars and had them on my TL-S prior to the Continental DWS. although i was pleased with Falken's grip and handling, I was a bit let down with the tread life.

Take a look at the hankook ventus s1 noble2. It's too new too have any extended life data, but it looks pretty promising to me. 500 tread wear rating, AA wet traction, non-directional tread... I was going to get these, but I ended up selling the car the car instead.
