Winter tire size for '03 TL-S
I'm thinking of getting winter tires for the car. I've heard people end up getting 16's instead of 17's for better traction. What are the pro's and con's? Should I stick with 215/50/17 or 205/50/17 or 205/50/16?
Also, are there any specific tires you would recommend? I'm NOT looking for performance during the winter. I just want excellant traction. I take it pretty slow during snow season. Thanks in advance for your help.

Well if you look at teh few snow tire threads going on you may get an idea of what tires most like. I prefer the Dunlop Wintersport M3. as for size there would be no real benifit from a 16 other than possibly less price, and or you wouldnt have the good 17's in the snow and salt. I run a 215 in the winter. the narrower the tire the better traction.
