There is an 04 TL in the pic gallery with 20s and it looks pretty good....but thats the first TL ive seen on this site in 3 1/2 yrs with 20s that actually looks good. The 04 TLs have more room to play with under the wheel wells than the 2nd gen TLs.

19s is basically the biggest you can go on a 2nd gen TL and still have a decent looking car that doesnt look like a 4X4.

20 x 7.5 or 20 x 8.0 will fit any TL like a glove. Check out Asanti and TIS wheels.. They make them with a +48 offset.

They could but it'll look nasty. Then most likely you won't be able to lower the car and 20's will actually make the car sit higher which also looks stupid. 19's will look so much better. Trust me, I've been looking into that senario for months before deciding to go with 19's myself. Not to mention the car having 4 doors which means people in the back seat and another set of issues with Dubs.

Ok guys, let's end it now. 20 will not fit on a 99-02 TL. Done, end of discussion. Next topic please.

That's not a TL, but a prototype for the new MDX!! Off road time! WTF??? Whoever owns that will be crying when his/her tranny goes out, bearings go out, brakes fail, or whatever, and the dealer says..hmm, your wheels are 5" to big, you warranty is now VOID!

what a Jack@ss

There's a point where TOO MUCH is TOO MUCH!
