Hey guys, my friend bought a 02 cls last summer and the seller gave him these springs, saying he bought them for like 3-400 dollars. My friend doesnt want to lower his car so today i took them from him and im planning on putting them on my car if they fit and are the right drop, but if not i plan on selling them. Any idea what they are worth and what the drop is? Thanks!

They are definately Teins and the part number looks to be SPR01-010950

 

have you tried looking on the Tein website? Type in that part number there or try and Google it. I'm sure it will turn up something.

 

nothing came up on google or on the tein site. all i found was this site

and i dont understand if it fits both or not, hopefully it does fit my tl, cuz that drop would be perfect!

that says the part number for an 02 cl is TEN-SKA34-AUB00 (1125)

while the part number for an 00 tl is TEN-SKA34-AUB00 (1128)

so it looks like they might fit my car and the drop is perftect

if it doesnt fit my tl id love to sell these to someone with a cl on the black market

 

lots of fake TIEN going around also.......make sure before you think about install.

 

well i did a search and if that is the right part there is someone selling them on ebay but they only have it listed to fit a scion XB......Item number: 160072050281

 

How would you be even able to tell if they are authentic??

 

since they are a 2.1" drop in the front and a 1.6" drop in the back, would i have to get a camber kit, cuz i really dont want to do that. If i do i might be thinking of trading them for some h&r sports, do you guys think that a straight up trade would be fair if someone was willing?

haha, anyways i think im probably gonna sell these, or ask for a swap in the next few weeks (hopefully for some h&r sports). first im gonna take them to a shop and make sure they are real and are still in good shape, they look brand new to me! If anyone knows of someone who wants to trade, send them my way
