Has anyone had any experience with Toyo TPT Proxes. The tire store recommends them.

I am about to replace my oem Michelins on my 2003 TLS.

I am in MD so I will need decent performance in snow. The Michelins have been awful.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

Hey, I'm looking to do the same thing. I also have an 03 TL-S. I agree that the OEM Michelins don't handle too well. I've heard good things about the Yokohama Avid V4S's. Also, it is the only tire I've found that matches the Michelins in speed and load ratings. From what I understand the sidewalls are firmer and the compound softer, therefore the better handling. Everyone says they're really good in rain and I think acceptable in snow. I live in MA, so I need decent snow traction, too. I'm no expert in any of this, but these are things I've heard................ Doug
