Aight, i spoke to a tire shop that sells the Toyo Proxes 4 and hes telling me that he doesnt have any Proxes 4 in stock and that ACTUALLY those tires are on backorder. He said that Toyo has the Proxes 4 listed as on BACK ORDER Nationwide. Anyone know if this is true?

Dont get your hopes up about buying them from edgeracing.com anytime soon cuz i spoke to them as well, and they also said that there out of them and that The Toyo Proxes 4 are still on backorder. The guy also told me that Toyo hasnt even givin any kind of concrete date of when they will get a new shippment of the Proxes 4 in. He said anywhere from 1 - 2 months. This really sucks. I WANT MY TIRES NOW lol.

I think it might be due to the free sunglasses with a purchase of 4 tires.

i tried to get 2 of them a while ago and i was told they'd been discontinued, i didn't believe it, but being on backorder makes more sense... i've had those tires though and i would recommend getting something else i got like 8k miles off the proxes 4... and i drive pretty conservativly

Only 8k miles? I'm over 14000km (9k miles) and have plenty of tread left. I only use these in the no-snow months (May-November) so my mileage may be better. I like what they do and I drive conservatively, as well. Next time, maybe summer dedicated tires (eg Toyo T1-R)
