I was thinking about getting this combo but I was wondering would I have issues with the Tokico Illuminas siezing and being stuck at the setting? Is there anything that could prevent that? A friend had mentioned.

Also does anyone have this combo?

I've never heard of seizing but I did have my Illuminas blow on me.

How many miles did you get out of them before they blew? Would you recommend them anyway?

My rears started making a whistling noise at about 30k. Damping action is still ok, no fluid loss. Fronts are still ok. I think one other person here had a whistling problem a while back. I'll probably go with bilsteins next time.

That setup would work well and you can adjust damping. TOKICO has a limited lifetime warranty so if they have blown b/c of manufacturer defect then they will replace them for you.
