tire suggestion

Ok I need some advice from the experts I have a 03 tls with eibach prokit springs I bought some 17x7.5 wheels I need to get some tires. I was told that 225/50/17 were to wide n big so o was wondering wat was the best tire size for my car I basically want to cover my gap also without rubbing...

Thx

this is a difficult question to anwer.

it depends on the offset of your wheels but i would say 225's will be fine with a 7.5 width.

i'm a big fan of going wider b/c your rims won't be so vulnerable to the curb if you hit one.

Idont kno the offest but the wheels r HR C2 currently on 215/40/17 but since they r low profile it makes my wheels look small

Werd on that! 50 could be too tall and risks rubbing on a 7.5. And yes your offset and camber is important aside from lowering.
