tire size 225/45/18 and 225/50/18

anybody use these sizes to reduce the size of the gap in the wheel well?

Don't cheap out on the drop. your 18's will look like 17's with 50 series sidewalls, and you'll ride a bit higher.

your prolly right, but i just get scared here in buf with the snowy winters. i think alot of the newer cars are coming out the factory with 18's and 50 series.

They may come that way but their speedos are also programmed to run with that size. You will be to large. You also should run your stock rims in the winter, the smaller width tire will go thru snow much better
