has anyone with the Avid v4 tires notice when you go over bumpy roads or and uneven surface or asphalt....the tires twist and turn on the road....which causes your steering wheel to shimmy?

it makes the car feel a little comfused and it pulls it left and right until you clear the un even surface.

these tires have directional threads, what if i switch to one that does not have directional thread.

i was thinking it was something with my suspension, but the dealer told me my front end is good.

any ideas....

I had these tires installed a few weeks ago and I don't have the problem that you stated. I actually like my Yoko Avid V4's much better than the stock tires. My car actually feels better going over bumps.

Do you have enough air in your tires? What size tire on what size rim are you using? Do you have each of the tires going in the correct direction? You could have a bad tire...

I'm not a tire expert, but many people on this forum love this tire, and have not had the same issues you have. So I figured I'd throw some suggestions.

check the psi...wit a gauge....when last did u do a alignment?

 

pressure is good, alignment is good. i have about 20k on these tires.
when i first got them it was a little noticable, now it is really there

 

any other ideas
