Has anyone found out where this squeaking noise is comming from? after 15k miles or so mine just started squeaking (front drivers side),, and i figured out that softer the setting, more noise it makes.

 

hey mine have started doing the same thing only with like 5k miles though...............I was slammed before no squeaks ,but then I raised my settings to about a 2 finger gap and this squeaking started the next week.It happens now over anything almost like it need to be lubed or something..........I'm taking it in next week will post my feedback from shop

 

dd is your sound almost like a crunch when you go over bumps or is it just a squeak..................I'm prbably just going to slam my car again maybe this will take care of it......prolly not

 

both crunch and squeak...but most likely squeaking noise at all speeds unless I hit a pretty good size bump. I also thought it needed to be lubed so I did both upper and lower perch but it didnt fix the problem. Let me know when youre back from the shop.

 

its probably the springs rubbing together, get some spring sleeves or whatever they are called, search it this has been discussed before

i have the same problem with my tein SS, i would say it sounds like a creak of some sort, i think people have put "spring sleeves" or what have you around the coils to prevent this sound or to help deaden it, search it tho, you should have some answers in there, enough of us have the SS
