Tein S-Techs

I just installed my tein s-techs a few days ago and the springs are beginning to settle. I have a two finger gap up front and a very tight one finger back in the rear. Is this the normal drop I should expect? It has a reversed rake look and I from the gallery some have it and some don't.

Would it be a good idea to try just the teins up front and putting the oem springs in the rear for the proper rake? Thanks for your help guys!

Derek

Edit: here's a pic of the car right after it was lowered.

Just a small 12" sub and amp, nothing that would weigh it down considerably.

I just installed mine last week and I have the same issue. My rear is lower then the front and it is really bothering me. It just doesn't look right and I dont have a system in the truck. Hope this isn't the way its gonna be, hopefully the front would just settle more and make up for the difference.

I bought mine from a dealer that has an authorized tein supplier. It came in the plain box and the lettering on the springs checked out.

I will definitely be getting new shocks next summer. I right now have 2 finger up front and 1 finger in the rear, from what I hear, this is the proper drop?

Unfortuantely guys, the stock appearence of the TL has always been like that. It leans back on all of them. Lower in the back and high in the front. You'd expect the front to be heavier cuz of the engine and lean lower in the front but it isnt. I dont know why that is but, thats why you get full adjustable coilovers. My TEIN SUPER STREET are set a quarter of an inch higher in the back then the front for the perfect drop look and back to front slanted appearance which is the way the car is supposed to be. It looks way better then level all around. TEIN SUPER STREET ALL THE WAY HOLLA!

yea, its deff lower in the back then the front, but its not really low in the back. If it goes lower then thats your decision on what you wana do about it. Like i said, Coilovers can fix all that lol. Maybe someone knows a cheaper way to correct for that lean.

This is why I recommend the coilovers over springs only. Really it is not a function of the lowering being off. The front wheel wells on these cars are HUGE. I have the same problem with my 90 integra.

Get some Koni adjustable shocks....you can adjust the height with the Koni yellows.
