Tein S-Techs
Tein S-Techs
I just installed my tein s-techs a few days ago and the springs are beginning to settle. I have a two finger gap up front and a very tight one finger back in the rear. Is this the normal drop I should expect? It has a reversed rake look and I from the gallery some have it and some don't.
Would it be a good idea to try just the teins up front and putting the oem springs in the rear for the proper rake? Thanks for your help guys!

Edit: here's a pic of the car right after it was lowered.

I just installed mine last week and I have the same issue. My rear is lower then the front and it is really bothering me. It just doesn't look right and I dont have a system in the truck. Hope this isn't the way its gonna be, hopefully the front would just settle more and make up for the difference.

Unfortuantely guys, the stock appearence of the TL has always been like that. It leans back on all of them. Lower in the back and high in the front. You'd expect the front to be heavier cuz of the engine and lean lower in the front but it isnt. I dont know why that is but, thats why you get full adjustable coilovers. My TEIN SUPER STREET are set a quarter of an inch higher in the back then the front for the perfect drop look and back to front slanted appearance which is the way the car is supposed to be. It looks way better then level all around. TEIN SUPER STREET ALL THE WAY HOLLA!

This is why I recommend the coilovers over springs only. Really it is not a function of the lowering being off. The front wheel wells on these cars are HUGE. I have the same problem with my 90 integra.
Get some Koni adjustable shocks....you can adjust the height with the Koni yellows.
