Tein H-Tech Springs

Anyone have these Tein H-Tech Springs.

http://www.optionimports.com/ska34-bub00.html

I want to get a set to replace my fukcin POS H&R Sports. They are starting to sag in the back after 8 months and its already blew out my new rear tokico hp blue shocks I just bought. This is the 2nd time I replaced these shock. The 1st time didnt last too long also about 1 yr and 2 months. DO NOT GET THE TOKICO HP BLUES. THEY ARE A PIECE OF SHIT!!! arghhhhhhhh!!!!!!! Gonna redo my whole suspension or put everything back to stock. If i do that, i'm gonna sell my car and put a downpayment for a '05 G35!!

tein is one of the best brand in suspension. You should go with the tein basic damper because you can go lower than the h-tech model and they come with shocks already compare to the h-tech, so you will not scrap another set of shocks. It's a good investment but it's sure that a g35 is an awesome car too.

If you're gonna trade your car in, you're better off installing OEM parts. You'll most likely get a better trade-in value for a "stock" car than a modified one.

If you're gonna keep your car a while, then the Tein H-tech (or S-tech if you want to go lower) / Tokico combo should be fine. At least the Teins are designed with the weight of a TL (aka Honda Inspire in Japan) in mind. (I believe the current H&R sports are also designed for the TL specifically ... but there was a debate about H&R springs a while back ... probably the OE springs)

Oh ... I was referring to the Tein H-tech springs. I'm not 100% sure about the TeinSS coilovers -- you're probably right on that account.

nice... lucky u

I'm choosing between the tein S-tech or the kgmm ddr's...

do u guys think the h-tech is better or the S-tech?

i know they are about the same prices but its just the different ride height and material.

i'm just worried the S-tech is too low for city driving

The KGMM's are designed for the Accords. You might get a lower drop than advertised.

As for H-tech or S-tech ... depends on your application. You want looks/handling? Then you probably wanna go S-tech. H-tech, IMHO, is a compromise of looks/handling but having the practicality of a little higher ride height. If you do a lot of city driving, then you might be better off with the H-tech. The H-tech has a comparable drop to the Comptechs, so the need for a camber kit is not likely. So cost could be another factor in your decision making.

Hope that helps.

Hey krazy_TL -- hope you like the Teins! You lucky guy ... if it weren't for the fact that they use salt like crazy where I live ... I would have gone for TeinSS in a heartbeat.

Thanks for the reply =)

Hmmm I've decided to go with the kgmm ddr springs cuz i got a very good price for a set of used ones. only 150 CAD and used for 6months. =)

Well... i figured 2inch drop isn't that low.... i just gotta watch out and becareful where i drive.

I hope it doesn't go further than 2 inches tho lol...if so i'm gonna be driving so slow looking out for every single bump on the road...

I just hope that it doesn't lower too far off than 2 inches.

I'm using my stock shocks.

Let me know If you have more info about the kgmm ddr springs on the TL-S.

If you run an Accord spring it'll be lower because the TLs weigh more. I have the H-Tech Teins and love them. Perfect drop and great handling (smoother and tighter than stock).

I haven't gotten any really recent pictures, it's settled a bit, looks like a comptech drop.
