as i suspected, it is a very easy install and not unique to a certain car model. the installation instructions are universal. you can follow the first part of this:

when you get to the wiring, there is a passage through the firewall right above the gas pedal. you can find pictures of it somewhere in the Audio section. people, including me, use that passage way all the time to do subwoofer/amp installations. tap into the cigarette lighter to get power to the control unit.
