Sway bar end link replacement
I read the DIY section on doing this job but I have a question. Can I replace one cornor at a time or do I have to jack the whole back end off the ground to replace the links?

I'm a thrill seeker in my
Definitely jack up the whole rear end and place it on jack stands. Just makes life so much easier. Make sure you're replacing your end links with some Moog ones or another excellent aftermarket alternative. Putting on OEM ones is useless.

I recently had to replace the drivers side front link and outer tie rod. I bought the Moog parts and looked at doing it myself. I realized that not only jacking it up, you really need larger/heavier tools than most DIY'ers have.
I took it to a small garage and for $70 (I already had the parts) they replaced the link and the tie rod in less than an hour. I would have taken at least a day or maybe more, if I couldn't break the bolts. They hosted it up, took a torch to the tie rod end lock nut and bashed the other end off with three whacks from a large ball peen hammer. The link they pried off the caps and using a vice grip on the "ball", backed the nuts off with a impact wrench. They greased the links (who's got a grease gun these days ?) and arranged with another shop to do the alignment.
For $70, this is one job I would not do on my own.

no you don't have to left the whole car up are the car at all, it makes it easier but if your on a rack all you need is a pry bar on the sway bar to get into position to line up. This can be done with one corner of the car up. It's easier to just remove one side attach half of the end link do the other side and then come back and attach the one end left.
also a zip gun is handy or you'll have issues with the tappered studs on the end links
