Suspension Questions

I would like to upgrade the suspension a little on my TL and need a little advice. I want to lower the car just a little, and firm it up. I do not however want to be driving a brick. I like a smooth but firm ride. I just want to take the bounce and float out of the stock setup. I was looking at getting H&R OE springs, Tokico HPs (or koni's), and comptech sway bars.

What is everyone's experience with these parts? Should I go with something else?
I live in colorado so I can't lower it much because I'll bottom out on everything.
Thanks for your help.

The OE's dont drop your car much at all. I have the Comptechs and I wouldnt mind another 1/2 inch drop. I still have the stock shocks (they have 83k on them, 15k with the new springs) and they are still fine. I will ride them till they die, cause I dont have any extra money now.

joseph_99tl why do you want to sell your Comptechs?

If you are looking for a decent set of shocks and springs you should just get the Tien SS setup for our car. That way you have full adjustability on all four corners. PM blxmjx from A-CL and he should give you a good price on the Tiens. have fun!

Are the Tein SS's too stiff? can I set the ride height at a near stock level with them? I would love to get them with the electronic controller, but I was worried about the ride.
