If you want the best handling, go for both coilovers and sway bars. Coilovers allow you to adjust both the vehicle height and shock stiffness. Sways cuts down on body roll during hard cornerings.

Sways are 80% of the handling improvement.

Sways are the best way to go without sacrificing the ride quality. I have Tokico Illuminas with ground control coils droped about 1.5 on both, but that didn't help handling as much as when i installed eibach sways. good times. I also installed the eibach strut tower brace for AV6 so my chassis now is super stiff. Recommendation: if you are going to lower the car before sways, spend the money to get the Tein SS coilovers with struts. This will save you the expense of having to buy both. With the EDSC you will also be able to adjust the 16x settings on the fly INCLUDING height. I wish i would have baught them. I just got to good of a deal to pass up the current setup. Good luck
