Suggestions on mesh 19" wheels that will actually fit?

I've searched and I've called 5 different wheels places today and have come to the conclusion that wheels similar to a TSW Snetterton like this just don't seem to exist. I can't find a manufacturer that will sell it with the correct offset so I don't have to roll my fenders or cut tabs or anything. The best I found was an 18 x 7.5 with an offset of 45. I could go that route, but I'd really like to go with 19's. So, anyone out there with some suggestions on an actual wheel and not a "just call this store online and they can help"? I've tried that, and none of them could help.

Only finding that in a 19x8.5 which won't work. Nice wheel though.

Assuming you have an 07, they take different offsets. Again, I'm just going by the sticky that says what will fit on my car.

So does EVERYONE have to roll their fenders or cut tabs and all that stuff to get wheels to fit? I know my post hasn't been out there long, but I thought I'd have at least a couple more suggestions. Maybe there are just different wheels out there that fit, but none in the style I'm looking for?

You'll be fine with a +40 offset of a 7.5 width wheel. I'm running a +45 on an 8.5 and i didnt roll or cut tabs

If you can't find them in black you're definitely not looking hard enough. Here's one link for them. Black Privat Netz
Thanks for the tips guys, but I'm still sticking to what the sticky says for size. I don't want to do anything but lower my car, but new wheels on and go......and I don't want to rub at all.

You know my story, With the HR Drop even my 5Zigen 5ZR's 225/40 18 45 offset rubbed on big bounces. I have not rubbed once with the 225/35/19 50 offset RonJons

Yeah, I like the Legend Type II from them, but it's just hard for me to go with a 20 for some reason. Plus they're just a shade higher price wise than I wanted to go. I'm still thinking about it though since they actually make them for our car.

Im with you jtbeche I been looking for 19" mesh wheels for quite sometime now that fit and I dont have to roll or cut. I was gonna go with the Privat Netz in black but looks like it wont fit with 19x8 40 offset without roll or cut unless someone can prove me wrong but if I find somethin ill let you know jt

I think the Snetterton is a 19x8 with a 40 offset. Just won't work. I did see the Racing Hart one's that might work, but I guess I should have also added I can't quite bring myself to spend about $600-900 a wheel. I was hoping to spend more like $2K or under with a set of tires. I know....I know....call me cheap and say you get what you pay for. I can live with it.

Seriously man, I don't know how many times I have to say this. Rolling and cutting might not be rocket science but it's just something I'M NOT GOING TO DO. That said, no, it's not really going to work. I think I'll just go with what the sticky says works without modification. I understand you can make other offsets work with the right tire or camber kit or rolling fenders or cutting tabs, but I'm not messing with all of that. Again, I just simply want to put them on, lower it some and go keeping it as close to stock as possible. I'm not a young kid who wants major modifications to his car. I just want to change it up a little.

Yeah, I know unfortunately. I guess that was the whole point of the thread.
Looks like I'll eventually just break down and get 18's or hopefully someone with some used 19's in great shape will come along.

I hear ya! I think that it is inevitable that once you drop the car and get a proper allignment your going to rub on bounces unless you screw with the camber then you have to deal with uneven tire wear or roll the fenders and/or cut the tabs. I am not an expert in suspension but if you had adjustable coilovers would you be able to set them at a desired height just shy of rubbing? More $$$

Yes you can - some members, including 01TL4TL has his height set up for the 235 series tires he's running on 18" rims.

Because I've already gone through modding my previous Mercedes and found it harder to sell once I decided to get rid of it. So this one isn't getting things like tabs cut off or anything. One persons idea of "no big deal" is another persons idea of making the car far from stock. So, sticking with minor things like new springs is acceptable. That can easily be changed back. This is the one thing I've learned along the way that some of you guys aren't quite getting. If it's a persons personal car, they can do with it what they want. Just because you do something or think there's a better way doesn't mean that's the way for everyone. Oh well. Guess I'm just old and grouchy.

You know you can't look at a car and tell the fenders have been rolled, right?? It wouldn't prevent you from selling it, nobody would notice.

These aren't bad. Seen some on ebay, 19x7.5 +48 should fit nicely.

@ 02 Type-s, 03Aspec, and Napsoner, you're never going to be able to change this guy's mind on the fender rolling thing.

That being said, google is your friend.

I actually checked those out. The website I saw said they only came in a different bolt pattern. I guess I'll look harder.
Edit: Guess I'm still not good at searching. I only see them in a 5x120 bolt pattern. I'll check more when I get more time.
