Stock TL-S suspension dead at 52K
I noticed a big difference a while back between my car (which was in for the 45K service last year) and the almost-new loaner they gave me (2003 with 3K miles), but I thought it was merely the fact that the car was "broken in".
Boy was I wrong. I have the camcorder all mounted in the TL-S and was taping some roadwork - acceleration, braking.... I come up to a turn that I have taken a thousand times before... was going about 95 and could barely keep the car under control - it was pushing really bad (and I was just coasting - no brakes). Scared the hell out of me considering if I was going 10mph faster I would have went right into the guard rail. I remember taking the same turn when the car was new at 100-105 and it was fine, even with the crapo stock michelins (now I have Contis). I can take the turn at 125 in my Camaro with ease..... So i'm thinking dead struts and worn-in (not yet out) springs.
I know that stock shock and struts wear out pretty quick, but now the car has gone from TL to Regal level handling. I guess that the springs/struts or coilovers will not wait until next year. So I need to decide either H&R Sports/Tokico blues or a lower prices coilover, or the eibach pro system (with the sways).

Ball joints attach the upper control arms to the spindle (knuckles).
Knuckles are the hub mounting surface for the brakes.
I will have them checked when I bring the car in for the springs/struts.
Anyone have anything bad to say about the Eibach Pro System (with sways)?
