Question Road Force Numbers

Does anyone know what an acceptable road force measurement would be? I know this Hunter machine spits out a number to tell you how true a tire/rim combination is under load. Thanks for any input...

Thanks for that! It contains the best info I've seen yet. So, here's my situation. I had my new Yoko V4S's mounted and balanced and was having some problems with vibration. They've since been re-balanced and ride much more smoothly. I actually took them to a place that has that Hunter Road Force machine and my tires/wheels came out like this: LF=2, RF=3, RR=6, LR=15. According to that site, an extremely sensitive vehicle may be affected when RFV is above 15. Well, 3 of my wheels are much better than that and the fourth is right at 15. My question is should I go to the extra expense and hassle to take the car back and have them try to get that fourth wheel closer in measurement to the other 3, or is this just all academic? Thanks for reading this and any comments.

Any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated. My girlfriend is pretty sure that this is just another manifestation of my OCD, and in reality the tires/wheels are fine just like they are. Of course, I'd be happier with that fourth wheelset closer to the other three. What say you?

have them turn the tire on the rim, this will help and reduce the amount of weights. watching them do it on my 18X10 with 295's was amuzment in itself!!
