REPLICA VOLKS or AUTHENTIC?

I'm about to buy some Volks TE37's off some guy and wanted to ask you guys a question. Is there anyway of telling if they are authentic Volks or replicas? from the looks of it, they look real but is there anything is particular I should look out for? Thanks in advance.

Yeah. First ask if he's ever had the Volks refinished. If he says no, then ask him to show you a picture of the sticker within the wheel well.

All Rays wheels should have a sticker inside with the wheel info... if he had the wheels refinished in a different color, than the sticker would probably be gone.

check for stamping behind the spokes. There should be volk stamped on one of the spokes.

the color is gun-metal... and I actually looked at the wheels myself but the sticker wasn't there... it looked like it was ripped off...

When he takes the wheel off look on the hub part of of the wheel where it mounts to the rotor it will say the brand and the offset and such. even though the sticker is not there it says rays on the hub part of the wheel and or the spoke. plus the genuine volks are light you can tell the difference between them.. good luck.
