Recommendations for tires?

I've got an '03 Type-S with stock tires right now. I've noticed they're not the best on snow or in the rain. What type of tires should I be getting for snow or rain. I don't mind losing performance during the summer time. Thank you.

dedicated snow tires for the winter and a nice performance tire for summer.

if you are dead seat against that option, tire choices are depending on what you want to spend.

on the upper end of the spectrum is the
Mich pilot sport A/S.
then the
sumitomo HTR+ and the contiextreme contact are all great allseason tires.

check out the tire rack and read reviews on tires

I have the stock Michelins on my 03 TL-S right now and initially, like many others, found their performance to be lacking to say the least. But I took fsttyms1's good advice from another thread and pumped the Michelins up to 40 psi in front and 38 in back. There is a marked difference in their performance now. They have much better turn-in and that vague, mushy feel is mostly gone. These will never be high-performance tires, mind you, but they now perform at least acceptably well. I've also noticed that they are better on rain and snow with the higher pressure. My 2 cents.
