has anyone been able to find a rear strut bar? i have a 99 and am looking for that but been unable to find any. also, any recomendations on how low you can go before really risking the factory struts from blowing?

fab your own?? we don't have one in the market available...

how low are you wanting to go on your factory shocks...

i went 2.1 and 1.7 rear... 1.6? 1.7??? eh.. after awhile, you can slowly feel ride quality going to shitters....

about 2.5 inches. im afraid to push it more than 2 though. had a 99 accord a while back and was careless by slamming it 3.5 on factory struts and fried everything

2.5.... i'd just get coilovers.. don't be cheap...

factory shocks aren't even meant to handle anything past 2 inch drops..

you're ride is gonna get super bouncy.. bumper stops are just gonna be pretty pointless and you'll just have one of the shittiest rides and eveyrone is just gonna stare at you not cuz your ride looks sick but its bouncing like little kids in the buoncy room....

Take a look at where the rear struts mount and see if you can mount a functional strut bar in there. You wont gain any thing from having one.

If your going to lower it do it right and at the minimum get new shocks.
