18x7.5 with +38 offset ... you're gonna have to cut tabs, at the minimum. Dropped 2"? Will need to roll fenders while you're at it ...
To 'roll a fender' ... some may suggest taking a baseball bat and carefully rolling up the lip that is where a tire may rub up against the wheel well. (Take a look at your car and see what I mean ...) Otherwise, take it to a body shop and they'll know what to do ...

"Rolled fenders" pretty much means that the inner lip of the fenders are rolled up to create more clearance in order to accommodate wider / lower offset wheels. Some use the baseball bat method, and others also use the fender rolling tool that a lot of body shops have. You can also have the inner lips shaved smooth, just be sure to have an undercoating applied in order to seal it up and keep it safe from any possible rust etc. This is what I had done to my previous CL to accomodate the wider wheels / lower offset.
It's really not that big of a job to get done. In my opinion it is definitely worth having your fenders rolled or shaved so that you can purchase a wheel of your choice. Although our choice for wheels on our cars is somewhat limited as to properly fitting wheels, it isn't THAT limited. You can accommodate them and properly fit them on, keeping tire size in mind (225) as well as having the fenders done. This is will give you more room to play with in terms of offset/width in order to keep from rubbing.
Good luck!!
