proper tire pressure for low pro 19s?

im running 19 inch wheels wrapped in toyo proxes 4 225/35/19 tires

i was wondering what the optimal tire pressure is. a few of my rims have been rewelded due to cracks, if that affects anything. i usually run between 40-45, but ive been hearing 30?

whats the best. im more concerned with not cracking my rims than handling.

thanks

tire pressure really is up to what the driver likes. I typically run all my tires around the 38-40 mark (depending on tire) Most cases 38 is a safe #

so the lower the tire pressure the less chance of blowing a tire or cracking a rim?

no not really, teh lower the pressure teh softer teh ride, less handeling. You may be in more chance to bend a rim if the tire gives too much. typically cracking rims are either cheap rims or your hitting too many potholes. the problem with 19's on our cars is the profile has to be so low there isnt much protection for the rim.
