Pro Kit guys, did you cut the bump stops?

Pro Kit guys, did you cut the bump stops?

plan on installing them this weekend, and im installing them on stock struts till this summer. i searched and some do and some don't whats the verdict?

Yes, when i had my prokit installed i cut dem; i think it even instructs you on the paper that accompanies the springs. hope that helps, i cut mines alittle less than half...

I always cut mine on all my cars and the instructions tell you to also. From experience be careful in cutting the hard ass foam off dont cut into the strut any small knick can cause it to blow premature.

doesn't the bump stop come off? once the top and the spring comes off doesn't the bump stop slide off?

yes, after taking out the strut and spring, just dissemble and you can get to the bump stop and cut it isolating from everything else.

so just cut it a little less than half and i should be set?
